Kadar Seng Plasma pada Asupan Makanan Para Remaja di Kota Semarang (Studi pada Anak SMP) di Semarang

Lalar belakang: Masa remaja merupakan masa pertunubuhan dan perkembangan yang tepal, ditandai dengan lonjakan pertumbuhan jasmani, perubahan psikologi dan penuatangan seksual sekunde,: Potensi periunubuhan maksimal dapat dibatasi oleh adanya defiesiensi seng . Defisiensi seng dapat disebabkan oleh kekurangan asupan makanan, berbagai penyakit dan tidak ada keseimbangan nutrien di dalam tubuh. Survei kesehatan dan penelitian makanan menunjukkan bahwa pada remaja ditemukan tingginya status nutrisi yang kurang. Asupan makanan terdiri dan asupan kalori, protein. lemak, kalsium, besi, seng dan selera makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan makanan dengan kadar seng plasma pada remaja.
Metode: Rancangan penelitian bersifat belah lintang. Sampel diambil dari .1 SMP di kota Semarang yang dipilih secara “cluster random sampling “. Data asupan makan didapat dan kuestene dan kemudian dilakukan pengukuran antropomeri, dan kadar’ seng dalam plasma secara AAFES. Masing-masing data dianalisis secara korelasi untuk melihat hubungan antara asupan seng, kalori, protein, lemak , kalsium, besi dan serat makanan dengan kadar seng plasma. Asupan makanan tersebut secara bersama-sama dihubungkan dengan kadar’ seng plasnia secara regresi ganda.
Hasil: Remaja yang ikut pada penelitian ini berjumlah 97 anak yang terdiri dari 41 anak laki-laki ‘42.2 7%,) dan 56 anak perempuan (57.73%,). Ternyata 7 anak (7.22%) yang menderita defisiensi seng, 90 anak (92.78%) nienupunyai kadar seng yang normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antana sebagian besar asupan makanan

Back ground: Adolescence is a period of fast growth and development, characterized by growth spurt, psychologic changes and secondary sexual maturity. Maximal growth potency ui be delayed by zinc deficiency state. Zinc deficiency could be caused by dietary intake deficiency, various illness and nutrient imbalance. Health surreys and food studies showed that during adolescence there ,here high prevalence of poor nuirional condition. The aim of this study is to defIne the correlation of dietary intake and plasma zinc level in adolescence.
Method : Design of study  was Cross sectional study Sample were drawn from four Junior High School in Semarang and ,There chosen by cluster random sampling. Data of dieta intake were taken. Through a questionaire, blood sample ii’ere drawn to asses plasma Zinc level, ,which were done kv AAFFES (Atomic Absorption Flame Emision Spectrojbtomeier The correlation of dietary intake and plasma zinc level u’ere anal ized by muiltiple regression.
Result: There were 97 students of Junior High School consisting of 41 boys (42.27%.) and 56 girls ‘57.73%, From those, 7 students (7.22%) ii’ere in a zinc deficiency state and 90 students (92. 78%) i’ere within normal limits.
There were sign correlation between zinc intake and plasma zinc level. Also each of’ these calory, protein, fat and calcium have a significant correlation with plasma zinc level. The multiple regrresion between dietary intake (Calcium, iron. carbohydrat, protein, Zinc) and plasma zinc level showed a sign correlation.
Conclusion: There are significant correlation between zinc intake and plasma zinc level. Also each of’ these calory, protein, fat and calcium have a significant crrelation with plasma zinc level. Zinc, iron, calcium, carbohydrat and protein simultaneously have a sign ficant correlation with plasma zinc level.
